Shining for P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative during the 2023 holiday season
Stony Brook Legendary Lights (formally known as Stony Brook Shines for Others), is a neighborhood organization that is devoted to partnering with, and donating to, local to Western New York (WNY), child-centric charities.
Our neighborhood, the Stony Brook/Quail Run development, located in Lancaster, NY, is made up of over 300 homes, spread out across eight streets. We’ve become known over the years for our neighborhood community lights display. Each winter, our neighbors decorate their homes with festive decorations and holiday lights that turn on Thanksgiving night and shine nightly through January 1. Each evening, visitors drive or walk through the neighborhood to view the lights and have the option to donate, if they wish to, online or at any of the donation drop boxes set up throughout the neighborhood. All donations collected from neighbors, local businesses, and visitors, are presented at the end of the season to a predetermined, local to WNY, child-centric charity.

How to Donate

Cash or check donations made out to “StonyBrook Legendary Lights” are accepted at all neighborhood donation drop box locations.
